During 2019-2021, our team successfully executed the construction of the Badenoch and Strathspey Health Facility in Aviemore for Balfour Beatty. Our dedication to quality, sustainability, and innovative design was central to the success of this project.
We managed the installation of a versatile roofing system. This included Kingspan LP (Low Profile) panels, Protan membrane, and a green sedum roof. The combination of these materials ensured high thermal performance, excellent waterproofing, and ecological benefits such as improved air quality and stormwater management.
For the wall systems, we utilised Kingspan karrier panels installed to a Steel Framing System (SFS), which provided superior insulation and fire performance. This was followed by the application of a variety of cladding options: Siberian timber cladding for a natural aesthetic, horizontally laid sinusoidal aluminium sheets for a modern look, fibre cement sheets for durability, and Kingspan LV (Louvre) panels for added ventilation and design versatility. All necessary flashings were included to ensure a seamless and weather-tight finish.
This meticulous planning and execution resulted in a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that embodies sustainability, durability, and modern design.
